The Billboard Emergency Alert System, known as BEAS, has been in operation in Anderson County since 2007.  The system uses many of the new electronic billboards, and is activated  for an Amber Alert, missing person, or other emergency event/incident.  The BEAS project maintains their own website, which we invite you to view.
